Lab Technician

This position reports into QC Labs Lead and is based at East London.

What will you do

The Lab Technician is responsible for

• Responsible for testing incoming packaging components

• Responsible for Finished product testing

• Responsible for documentation, laboratory system, lab consumable and retention management

Key Responsibilities

• Sampling and testing of packaging material and finished product testing.

• Adhering to all GMP procedures and company regulations

• Management of Lab consumables

• Ensure all reagents and glassware needed for use is maintained at reasonable stock levels

• Ensure instruments are calibrated as per procedure

• Maintains housekeeping standards in the packaging areas, chemical storage areas and all retention stores.

• Investigation of Out of Trend (OOT) and Out of Specification (OOS) results in accordance with specified SOP’s and method specifications.

• Quality and Continuous Improvement projects

• Environment, Health & Safety requirements

• Participate in continuous improvement projects

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• ,2 Years’ experience in the FMCG or Pharmaceutical or related industry. Basic GLP training or Sound knowledge of cGMP and Laboratory techniques.

Desired Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Science, Analytical chemistry, Microbiology
• Proficiency in English
• Excellent communication skills written, verbal, and presentation skills including design and use of visual aids
